Swimming Carnival

The swimming carnival will take place on Wednesday 24th February at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre. This excursion will involve structured aquatic activities in the 50 metre and 20 metre swimming pools. 

All children in years 3 – 6 need to be in their classrooms at 8:00am the morning of the carnival. All competitors are required to wear a swimming cap in house colours (if possible). Caps will be on sale from the uniform shop, or you may use a cap you already own.  

Important note: If your child is a non-swimmer (unable to swim) they will not be able to compete in the races as the school only has access to deep water pools. NSW Department of Education policy requires that non-swimmers can only swim in waist deep water. We do encourage all students to participate in the day by cheering on their sporting house.
